Stabbing at shadows
As it turns out, “inner shadows” will do much of what I want to do, and will work in most cases. I’m still investigating the alternatives to create a more unique look and will do a full write up tomorrey.

I'll settle for some animatics, images, anything that satisfies my urge to appear on your doorstep unannounced with a cattle prod.
